Welcome to Hamlet Public School

On behalf of all the staff at Hamlet, I’d like to extend a warm welcome to students and parents for the 2010-2011 school year. Hamlet, located at the southern end of town at 315 West Gore Street in Stratford, is a community based school where cooperation with the home, school, and the surrounding neighbourhood is highly valued. We provide a supportive learning environment for 246 JK to Grade 6 students, including special needs students.

Learning is a responsibility shared by the school, student, and home. Students are encouraged to persevere in their academic studies, take advantage of the many extra-curricular opportunities offered, and continue to develop the qualities necessary for success as a life-long learner. The staff at Hamlet strive to do our best to meet the students’ needs and provide an enriching learning environment; to unlock the potential of all of our learners.
